Ron Aiken is the founding editor of the independent investigative journalism website QuorumColumbia.org, which was launched in July 2016. He is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists, the S.C. Press Association and has won more than 20 state, regional and national journalism awards. An 18-year journalism veteran, his work has been featured in a book showcasing the year’s best technology writing, appeared in papers across the country and was published in the 2015 book “State of the Heart, Vol. 2: South Carolina Writers and the Places They Love” by the University of South Carolina Press. He lives in Columbia with his wife, three children, two dogs and two cats.
