Dr. Robert W. Nelson received his M.D. degree at the Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1985.
He is also the author of over 50 original article about the economics of our healthcare system ending cost-drier and unwise public policy, and has written extensively about alternative practice models.
Dr. Nelson is the Publisher and Editor of the Sovereign Patient, a blot started in 2013 dedicated to restoring patient-centered care and promoting Free-market solutions to healthcare. He is a founding member and spokesperson for the Georgia Chapter of the Free Market Medical Association.
Dr. Nelson is also the Founder and Owner of Encompass Health Direct, in Forsyth County Ga, providing low-cost primary care for a monthly flat fee.
